Here is the conclusion of Mike Bloomfield: An American Guitarist.  Sadly, towards the end of Bloomfield's career, things kind of went downhill, fast.  Although, a highlight in those later years was reuniting in 1980 (shortly before Bloomfield's death on February 15th, 1981), with Bob Dylan, who he had recorded and played with in 1965.  Rest In Peace, Mike Bloomfield.
