Snowy White "Midnight Blues"


Check out guitarist Snowy White who has played with many artists throughout his career, that include Roger Waters & The Bleeding Heart Band, Pink Floyd (as a sideman), Peter Green, Mick Taylor, and Max Middleton.  Not only has White played with those groups.  But, he's also fronted his own bands over the years, that include Snowy White's Blues Agency, and Snowy White & The White Flames.  More to come about Snowy White.  In fact, another performance he did, with a video, is in the pipeline.  Stay tuned.

In memoriam: Wayne Henderson

Wayne Henderson, trombonist for The Crusaders, has passed away.  Yours truly has much respect for the work he did as a part of that band, that he founded, along with tenor saxophonist Wilton Felder, keyboardist Joe Sample, and drummer, Stix Hooper.  Much of their material, has been blogged here.

Check out this footage from The Last Waltz concert that was never used in the movie.  This is Eric Clapton performing his song "All Our Past Times", from his 1976 record "No Reason To Cry", with The Band, sharing vocals with Rick Danko.  The song, is significant.  Unfortunately, the performance is not as stellar as one would hope.
