Whitesnake “Trouble”


The title track from Whitesnake’s 1978 debut record, “Trouble”.  When they began, well before they became stars of 1980s “hair metal” as it were, Whitesnake were going for a stone cold blues rock sound and this tune is an example of that idea, featuring David Coverdale on lead vocals, along with the guitar tandem of Bernie Marsden, and Mickey Moody.  Check it out.

We remember Aretha Franklin, who has died st age 76.  Posted recently a performance she did along with Duane Allman and King Curtis, and was trying to find another song to pay tribute.  That song, has been found.  We remember always, “The Queen of Soul”, with “Rock Steady” from her 1971 “Young, Gifted, & Black” record.  Rest In Peace, Aretha.
