David Sanborn Group "Slam"/“Rush Hour”

From their performance in 1988 at Live Under The Sky, here is the David Sanborn Group.  This gig actually took place on, or more likely was highlighted to celebrate his birthday.

David Sanborn Live in Japan, 1988. A taste of the great alto player with an excellent band that features the late Hiram Bullock on guitar and the always delightful Terri Lynn Carrington on drums. Those of us who were around in the late 80s remember his late night TV show, Night Music. I've always dug Mr. Sanborn, who comes out of Hank Crawford and actually, first encountered Dave when he was playing with the Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
