A special Full Concert Friday, based on an article on Live For Live Music, originally published on February 23rd, 2019, about the short lived, yet key group in shaping the jam band music scene, Frogwings, performing at The Wetlands in New York that included many great players of the jam band scene such as Derek Trucks and Jimmy Herring on guitars, Kofi Burbridge on keyboards, Oteil Burbridge on bass, Butch Trucks on drums, and John Popper (from Blues Traveler), on harmonica. The band name Frogwings comes a quote from Duane Allman. "If a frog had wings, he wouldn't bump his ass when he jumped."
There are two full concert performances by Frogwings, highlighted here, on February 9th and 10th, 1999.
