From a performance at Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center on April 15th, 2011, (where many songs of his on this blog have come from), in Birmingham, Alabama. Here is the late, great, Charlie Daniels, illustrating some of what he liked to call "cowboy logic" in a song, that is an ode to the working man. This is "(What This World Needs) Is A Few More Rednecks", a song that proves "redneck" is not a derogatory term that can be applied to some fool who thinks it is humorous to be throwing beer bottles on the road and shooting blanks at road signs with a handgun. Charlie even says so in the video. "That's not a redneck. That's an idiot." You will understand what a real redneck is, listening to this tune, according to the man himself.
