Happy Birthday (yesterday, on Sunday, the 16th of August), to jazz piano legend, Bill Evans. Here is one of his best songs, and one of my favorites, "Waltz For Debby", recorded in 1961, and produced by the great Orrin Keepnews. The band lineup (a trio) features Bill Evans on piano, Scott LaFaro on bass, and Paul Motian on drums.
