Parisian prog rock band, Gong, with their song, "Magdalene", performed in the year 2000 at the High Above the Subterranea Club with the following lineup (as Gong is another band that has had a revolving, rotating cast of members, throughout it's existence).
Daevid Allen: vocals, guitar
Didier Malherbe: saxophone, flute
Mike Howlett: bass
Gilli Smyth: vocals
Mark Robson: synthesizer
Chris Taylor: drums
Theo Travis: saxophone, flute
Incidentally, Theo Travis would go on to perform with Soft Machine. So many of these musicians in the prog rock scene have become part of the reunions of the great bands, such as Gong, Soft Machine, and others.
