Bob James and Nathan East, will release their first collaboration album, outside of Fourplay, on September 18th. It is a duets record called The New Cool. that drops September 18th, on the Yamaha Entertainment Group. Yamaha only recently started releasing records, which is incidental, as East, and James, play Yamaha made instruments. East has a signature edition electric bass through Yamaha, and James, plays Yamaha grand pianos.
