Here is another song from The Gregg Allman Band's New Year's Eve gig at The Georgia Theater. This is the solo version of "Midnight Rider", which Gregg plays on guitar, and it sounds very different from the Allman Brothers version. Gregg originally recorded this version, as the very first track on his first solo record... 1973's "Laid Back". Allman and the band, played it at their March show at the Pantages Theater, and it was a definite hit with the fans, including yours truly.
