OK. So the words to this tune are a little trippy. But, the groove is infectious. When the two musicians in Daft Punk (Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo), were filling out the band for this record, they came up with an A list of great players. On this track, that includes the talents of Chic lead guitarist Nile Rodgers, rapper/drummer/songwriter Pharrell Williams on vocals, Greg Leisz on pedal steel and lap steel guitar, Paul Jackson Jr. on guitar, Nathan East on bass (who has played with Toto, Fourplay, and Eric Clapton), and Omar Hakim on drums.
With the depth of talent on just one track... you know you've got an Ace in the hole, right out of the box. Daft Punk revisit 1970s disco and funk with, "Get Lucky".
