An incredible event happened last Saturday night, September 21st at the Beacon Theater in New York City. Dickey Betts played a few songs with the Tedeschi Trucks Band. Could this be the catalyst for reuniting Dickey Betts with the Allman Brothers for at least a couple of shows at their annual Beacon run next spring? Right now, that's a big maybe. They played "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed", "Blue Sky" and "The Sky Is Crying". Relix magazine has the skinny on how it all went down, and videos of those songs. Here's the link.
