record collection revisited: William Bell "The Soul Of A Bell" + favorite song on the record

Revisiting an artist from the Stax Spotify playlists yours truly highlighted a while back.  Recently, I acquired a CD in a used record shop by William Bell, titled, "The Soul of a Bell".  The album was recorded in 1967.  Bell is one of the lesser known great soul singers from the '60s, and yours truly also found much of his material, on Spotify, (refer to some of the Spotify Sunday playlists).

Here is the track listing.

1. Everybody Loves A Winner
2. You Don't Miss Your Water
3. Do Right Woman-Do Right Man
4. I've Been Loving You Too Long (To Stop Now)
5. Nothing Takes The Place of You
6. Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye
7. Eloise (Hang On In There)*
8. Any Other Way
9. It's Happening All Over
10. Never Like This Before
11. You're Such A Sweet Thang

The whole album is great.  You'll notice an asterisk next to one of the songs.  Well, yours truly doesn't usually do this.  But, I've found my favorite tune on that record.  Track number seven, "Eloise (Hang On In There)" is the one.  Check it out.
