The Allman Brothers will do another annual series of gigs at the Beacon Theater in New York City this spring. The set lists will be highlighted here, even if said shows are not broadcast online. The ABB has been performing in New York for much of it's 40+ year history, and had landmark shows at the Beacon four years ago for it's 40th anniversary which featured many special guests.
They've jammed over the last few years with notables such as Eric Clapton, Robert Randolph, Widespread Panic, Buddy Guy, Hubert Sumlin, Susan Tedeschi, Bruce Hornsby... the list goes on. There should be more surprises in store for this year's shows. Yours truly has seen the Allman Brothers twice, in 2004 and 2007 at the Minnesota State Fair, and those concerts/set lists were documented in this blog.
