The Charlie Daniels Band "Saddle Tramp"

This song is what first inspired yours truly to really delve into guitar instrumentals.  I saw the Charlie Daniels Band play "Saddle Tramp" at their gig at the Minnesota State Fair a decade ago, and was totally floored.  Check this out.  Featured soloists are Daniels, along with his co-guitarists Bruce Brown and Chris Wormer, drummer, Pat McDonald, and Charlie's legendary Hammond B3 and piano wizard "Taz" DiGregorio.  This is how to jam.  Believe me.

Allman Brothers & the Levon Helm Band "The Weight"

Another SWEET version of "The Weight" with the Allman Brothers, the Levon Helm Band, and Taj Mahal from the Beacon Theater in March, 2009.  Playing in Levon's band at the time were, himself, on drums, Teresa Williams on vocals, Larry Campbell on electric guitar, and Brian Mitchell on keyboards.  That portion of the Levon Helm Band, joins the Allman Brothers for this performance.  Dig it.

Tedeschi Trucks Band "Part of Me" (acoustic)

Neat acoustic rendition of "Part of Me" by the Tedeschi Trucks Band from their new record "Made Up Mind".  Acoustic still meaning, electric guitars (at a lower volume, of course), bongo drums, and horns.  Dig this.
