In Memoriam: McCoy Tyner

We have lost another giant of Jazz and a man who yours truly fortunately was able to see perform live.  Rest In Peace, McCoy Tyner.

This tribute is a Full Concert Monday as well.  We pay tribute to McCoy Tyner, showcasing a performance of his from 1975.  The band includes McCoy on piano, Azar Lawrence on tenor saxophone, Juini (Junie) Booth on bass, E.W. Wainwright Jr. on drums, and Guillerme Franco on percussion.  McCoy, your spirit and music lives on, forever, in the hearts of Jazz fans everywhere.
