Charlie Parker "Jam Sessions" (1952)


Another Full Album Friday.  This time, it is Charlie "Bird" Parker, with the 1952 recording "Jam Session".  This is from the bop era of jazz and was recorded in Los Angeles, California, featuring tunes composed and arranged by jazz legends who came before Parker, before Parker would cement his own legacy as a jazz legend.  Two of the tunes are written by such legends, namely Cole Porter and Johnny Hodges.  Hodges played on this record as well.  The musicians list is:
