Duane was not on this recording, he wasn't even in the band until a year later, and then only for a couple of months. We had to fire him for drug reasons. Also, John Walden wasn't, either, but...Jim Matherly WAS the guitarist on these cuts.
You are absolutely right. Duane was not on this recording and the artist I was thinking of at the time was Sam Samudio from Sam, The Sham, & The Pharaohs.
