Legends Live At Montreux 1997

Very cool concept for a jazz fusion band, with plenty of blues thrown in for good measure.  This band is called Legends, and features Eric Clapton on guitar, David Sanborn on alto saxophone, Marcus Miller on bass, Joe Sample on keyboards (Rhodes, Wurlitzer, and Grand pianos), and Steve Gadd on drums.  Here's the set list.

1. Full House
2. Groovin'
3. Ruthie
4. Snakes
5. Going Down Slow (St. Louis Jimmy cover)
6. The Peeper
7. In Case You Hadn't Noticed
8. Third Degree (Eddie Boyd & Willie Dixon cover)
9. First Song/Tango Blues
10. Put It Where You Want It (Joe Sample/Crusaders cover)
11. Shreveport Stomp (Jelly Roll Morton cover)
12. In A Sentimental Mood (Duke Ellington cover)
13. Everyday I Have The Blues (Memphis Slim cover)

  1. Sadly, the post for the Legends concert with Eric Clapton, David Sanborn, Marcus Miller, Joe Sample, and Steve Gadd, (the video), has disappeared. Yours truly, will see about reposting the video within this same post, if at all possible.
