From their live 1974 album "Scratch" here's The Crusaders with their jazzy, funky take on Lennon and McCartney's "Eleanor Rigby". A cool twist on a well-known Beatles tune. The band lineup includes Joe Sample on Rhodes piano, Wilton Felder on tenor saxophone, Wayne Henderson on trombone, Larry Carlton on guitar, Robert "Pops" Popwell on bass, and Sticks Hooper on drums.
