Another one from Jazz Video Guy. The unofficial name of this group is New Directions in Music, and they are paying tribute to both Miles Davis and John Coltrane, playing a medley of jazz standards. Davis' "So What", and Coltrane's "Impressions". The performance is from JazzBaltica, on June 7th, 2002. The full band includes Herbie Hancock on piano, George Mraz on bass, Willie Jones on drums, the late, great Michael Brecker on tenor saxophone, and the late, great Roy Hargrove on trumpet.
