Apple Receives Patent On Technology That Will Block People From Taking Video At Concerts

This has positive, and negative consequences.  The positive is, people will be more inclined, to just LISTEN to the music at shows, and see it through their eyes.  The negative is, if you have a favorite song you know you might want to record, and make available, for posting on a blog such as this one through Fair Use, you may not be able to do that.

The Quebe Sisters "Roly Poly"

My dad used to sing this song, all the time.  Still does, sometimes.  Never knew it was a Bob Wills tune.  Check out The Quebe Sisters, singing, "Roly Poly", about someone, who just loves to eat.

In Memoriam: Scotty Moore

Rest In Peace, Scotty Moore, guitarist for Elvis Presley.  Moore played on such Elvis hit songs as "Hound Dog" originally done by Big Mama Thornton, Carl Perkins' "Blue Suede Shoes", and "Heartbreak Hotel" co-written by Tommy Durden and Mae Boren Axton.
