Apple Receives Patent On Technology That Will Block People From Taking Video At Concerts

This has positive, and negative consequences.  The positive is, people will be more inclined, to just LISTEN to the music at shows, and see it through their eyes.  The negative is, if you have a favorite song you know you might want to record, and make available, for posting on a blog such as this one through Fair Use, you may not be able to do that.

In Memoriam: Scotty Moore

Rest In Peace, Scotty Moore, guitarist for Elvis Presley.  Moore played on such Elvis hit songs as "Hound Dog" originally done by Big Mama Thornton, Carl Perkins' "Blue Suede Shoes", and "Heartbreak Hotel" co-written by Tommy Durden and Mae Boren Axton.

Watch Derek Trucks And Warren Haynes Jam Out At Bowlive Over The Years

Memories remain, of "March Madness" in New York City.  No, it has nothing to do with college basketball.  It has to do, with music.  For many years of course, the Allman Brothers Band would take up a month's long residence at The Beacon Theater, and also, the band Soulive, would play their "Bowlive" concerts.  If fans were lucky enough, they could go to both!  Neither event takes place at this particular time.  But, the website Live For Live Music, has some memories of the Soulive gigs, when Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes, would sit in with them.
